What we collect through this website

• Basic technical information: limited server logs and security telemetry necessary to operate the site (e.g., IP address, user agent, date/time of request).
• Contact form: the form collects your name, email, optional phone number, inquiry category, preferred response method and brief message. It also sends a label identifying the contact page and this website. Formspree processes the submission so I can receive and respond to your inquiry. Do not include a detailed clinical history.
• Email messages you send to us directly: if you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. Please avoid sending PHI by email.
• Public blog content: reading articles does not require you to provide your name or contact details.
• Optional analytics: Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics load only if you choose to allow analytics. These services measure page visits and interactions, such as consultation button clicks. Google Analytics can use cookies and device or browser identifiers. Contact-form field values are not included in the site's custom analytics events. Please do not put personal or health information into website URLs.
• Your analytics choice: the browser stores your allow or decline choice so the site can remember it. A necessary preference cookie also records a decline to prevent an older saved choice from enabling analytics. If browser storage is blocked, the site uses a temporary address fragment to preserve that decline on this page. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences. Declining does not prevent you from using the contact form or booking links.

How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve the website (e.g., load content, maintain performance, detect abuse).
• To respond to the basic inquiry you send through the form or email, using your contact details.
• With your analytics choice, to understand aggregate site use and improve page navigation and the consultation journey. These measures do not establish that a consultation or paid session occurred.

Choices and questions

Sending a basic inquiry provides information for me to respond to that inquiry. It is separate from consent to psychotherapy and from your optional analytics choice. If you change analytics to decline, the page reloads to stop the analytics services and remove accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. This does not erase data already received by a provider. Contact me with questions about information already submitted or to request access, correction or deletion, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements.

Sharing and service providers

Service providers process information to deliver the website and its inquiry and booking paths:

• Vercel hosts the website and processes technical requests and security information.
• Formspree receives and processes contact-form submissions, including the fields described above.
• Email services process direct messages and inquiry notifications.
• Calendly handles new consultation booking after you follow a booking link. Jane handles existing-client scheduling, payments and records. Review each platform's notice when using it.

We do not sell your information. We share information only as needed to operate the site, comply with law, or protect our rights and safety.

Storage location and international transfers

Service providers may process information outside Canada. This includes information submitted through the contact form and email, and information sent to optional analytics services when enabled. Contact me before submitting sensitive information if you have questions about a provider or location.

Retention

• Technical and analytics information: retention depends on the provider and configured settings. Contact me for information about the relevant service or a deletion request. Declining future analytics does not delete earlier provider records.
• Inquiries and emails: copies may remain in Formspree and email systems after an inquiry is received. Retention and deletion requests must account for the purpose of the correspondence and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact me to ask about information you submitted; this page does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed number of days.

Security

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Please keep website inquiries brief, avoid detailed health information in the form or email, and ask about the appropriate clinical channel for sensitive matters.

Your rights and access

• Health records: Access and correction requests for your health record are handled through our clinical custodian via our secure client platforms, not this website. Contact us to initiate that process.
• Website interactions: If you have questions about this Policy, an inquiry you submitted or analytics information, email me at info@resolvemenstherapy.ca.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults. Do not submit information about minors through the website or email.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
