When ADHD feels expensive
A lot of men with ADHD are capable, responsible, and still exhausted by how much energy it takes just to stay on top of life. Starting feels heavy. Finishing is inconsistent. Shame builds fast.
The problem is usually not effort. The problem is friction. Therapy helps you understand where the friction lives and build structure that fits how your brain actually works.

From my work with men
What I tend to notice with ADHD
A lot of men with ADHD have spent years being treated like they are careless, lazy, or inconsistent when the real issue is usually friction, overload, and shame building on top of each other.
What I pay attention to is the full pattern. Not just focus. I look at the pressure, the self talk, the avoidance, and the places where daily life keeps asking more from you than your current systems can hold.
This may be part of the pattern
You know what needs to happen, but getting started feels harder than it should.
You begin with good intentions, then momentum fades and guilt takes over.
Deadlines get close even when you have been thinking about them the whole time.
You swing between feeling stuck and overfocusing until you burn out.
Frustration and shame build faster than you want them to.
ADHD is affecting work, relationships, or confidence.
